Bike Balls x Oddballs

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered up with UK based Oddballs Foundation to sponsor The Bay Horse Velo Cycle Team as they tackle the 7th annual Mallorca 312 on April 30th 2016 in Mallorca, Spain.

Here’s the BHV Team at Fred Whitton Cycling Challenge, where they raised £13,955 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of former team member

The BHV team will be riding to raise funds, with each of the 36 members aiming to raise £500 for Testicular cancer research.

Outfitted with Bike Balls and Oddballs underwear...

Just in case you aren't familiar with Oddballs, here's a pretty nice series of photos of Super League Rugby players sporting Oddballs Underwear, who they have also partnered up with to raise awareness of Testicular cancer.

The BHV team will trek the longest cycle event for sportive cyclists in Spain, spanning 312km of the beautiful Balearic island.

The ride may look tropical and breezy, but the 312km stretch boasts some of Mallorca’s best climbs, with the penultimate climb in Coll Des Pi which is the shortest but steepest climb of them all, averaging 7%.

“Your physical and mental strength will be put to the test and you will probably have to dig deeper than you have ever thought possible. At the end of the day, pushing yourself to new heights and discovering your limits is what makes Mallorca 312 such a wonderful cycling experience.”

It sounds like an insanely tough ride, but the BHV Cycle team is up for the challenge.

We’re very inspired by the work that The Oddballs Foundation and the BHV Cycle Team are doing to raise awareness for Testicular Cancer and we couldn’t be more excited to be teaming up with them.

Testicular Cancer Awareness Month is drawing to a close but testicle health is a year long endeavour! Keep checking those balls ya'll and good luck to the Bay Horse Velo Cycle Team!
